This tool is amazing! I’ve been a service plumber for 15 years, and always struggled with rebuilding these valves. Now with the zip seat extractor it’s and effortless job! I would highly recommend this tool!
Bought the Zip Seat Extractor from you last week. This is an Awesome tool. Once the spindle was removed I had both seats out in 20 seconds with NO effort or damage. These seats had been in the valve for 37 years. I watched YouTube videos of how to rebuild the valve. The plumbers in the videos did not have an easy time removing the seats with conventional tools. Wow, what a tool set. We come across Symmons tub and shower valves all the time. I purchased the Zip Seat Extractor Set and had an opportunity to use it on a Customers valve that needed to be rebuilt. I typically break the news to them that they may need to replace the whole shower valve if we’re not successful getting out the seats. The tool did exactly what they said. Both seats were very corroded and I could see that someone had already attempted to remove the larger seat in the front. The shiny brass ring in front of the notches was a clear indication that it was already partially stripped. The Zip Seat Extractor bit broke them free after about 30 seconds of my impact gun wrapping and then spun right out. The diverter was also very stuck, but came right out with the diverter tool. I’ll never attempt to work on these valves again without this tool set. Thank you so much. These tools work amazing!!
